Terms and Conditions for sqrDAO Event Attendees

Welcome to sqrDAO events! We're excited to have you join us. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing tickets or attending any sqrDAO event. Your purchase or attendance signifies your agreement to these terms.

  1. Definitions
    • "Holder," "Bearer," "Purchaser," "You": Refers to the individual buying or possessing tickets for a sqrDAO event.
    • "Our," "Us," "We," "Issuer," "Provider," "sqrDAO": Refers to sqrDAO, the organizer of the event.
    • "Event": Refers to any event organized and hosted by sqrDAO, including but not limited to workshops, conferences, and meetups.
  2. Agreement to Terms
    By purchasing, allocating, possessing, or using tickets to any sqrDAO Event, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, or if you have concerns about the risk allocations mentioned herein, please do not purchase tickets or attempt to enter the Event premises.
  3. Amendments to Terms
    sqrDAO reserves the right to modify, revise, amend, or add/remove sections from these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notification. Such changes will be reflected on the official ticketing website or Event page. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.
  4. Ticket Pricing and Purchase
    The price of each Event ticket will be clearly stated on the official ticketing platform and is non-negotiable.

    The official ticketing platform, as specified for each Event (e.g., https://lu.ma/web3-builders-summit-danang for "Web3 Builders' Summit: the Rise of AI"), is the sole authorized source for purchasing Event tickets.

    If you obtain tickets from any unauthorized source, you assume all risks, including the risk that such tickets may be counterfeit or reported stolen. sqrDAO reserves the right to dishonor and void any tickets obtained from unauthorized sources.
  5. Revocable License
    The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access our activities and Event venues on the scheduled date(s) of the Event. This license includes the revocable right to attend the Event. This license can be revoked at any time by sqrDAO at its sole discretion. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry to the venue, and no refund will be issued.
  6. Prohibited Ticket Use
    Event tickets are not to be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You may not use tickets for any promotional or advertising purposes (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior written approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in the immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s) without refund.
  7. Non-Redeemable Tickets
    Event tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.
  8. Compliance and Investigations
    sqrDAO reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of these Event ticketing terms and conditions. In the event of any conflicts or disputes, the decision of sqrDAO will be deemed final.
  9. Event Delivery and Refunds
    The Event service will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety as soon as the Event officially commences on its scheduled date. From that point on, no refund requests will be entertained.

    Cancellation by sqrDAO: If an Event is canceled in its entirety due to unforeseen circumstances, sqrDAO has the sole and absolute right to:
    • i) reschedule the Event, or
    • ii) issue a partial or full refund, or
    • iii) not issue any refunds.
    The decision of sqrDAO in such cases will be final and binding.

    Force Majeure Cancellation: If an Event is canceled due to factors or causes not within the control of sqrDAO (inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, governmental announcements, strikes, production delays, etc.), sqrDAO will offer a partial or full refund, postpone the Event, or provide a comparable "make good" option.

    Rescheduled Events: If an Event is rescheduled to other dates, you will not be eligible for any refunds.

    Refund Specifics: In case an Event is fully canceled and a refund is issued, the refund will include only the face value/printed value of the ticket(s). The bearer cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on processing fees, handling fees, or other such charges.

    Foreign Exchange Fluctuations: Any losses occurring due to foreign exchange fluctuations at the time of refunds must be borne by the purchaser. sqrDAO cannot be held liable for such losses.

    Final Sales: All ticket sales are deemed as FINAL TRANSACTIONS. There will be no ticket returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
  10. Age Restriction
    By purchasing Event tickets, you automatically confirm that you/the attendee(s) are of the minimum age or older at the time of buying the ticket(s). The minimum age for attending any sqrDAO Event is 18 years old, unless otherwise specified for a particular Event. If it is proven beyond doubt at the venue that an attendee is below the minimum age, they will not be granted entry, and no refunds (full or partial) will be issued.
  11. Entry Requirements
    At the time of entering the Event venue, you are required to produce your ticket and a valid identification document (ID). By presenting an ID, you confirm that all details present on it are accurate and updated.
  12. Waiver of Surcharge Claims
    You hereby agree to forego all types of surcharge claims - full or in part - and all claims and entitlements related to it.
  13. Assumption of Risk and Liability Disclaimer
    sqrDAO does not take any responsibility for personal or financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost, stolen, or misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained. You attend the Event at your own risk.
  14. Code of Conduct and Zero-Tolerance Policy
    sqrDAO maintains a strict "zero-tolerance policy" towards unauthorized drug use or carrying at the venue, and towards any type of behavior or actions that can be interpreted as lewd, obscene, disruptive, or harmful to others. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at the Event and/or if you engage in any objectionable action, your participation in the Event will be terminated immediately. Your Event ticket(s) will become void from that point on, and no refund will be issued.
  15. No Chargebacks
    You purchase Event tickets on your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/debit card that had been used for the transaction.
  16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    In all cases of disputes between the ticket-bearer and the ticket-issuer, the decision of sqrDAO will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved internally, the help of an independent third-party arbiter may be sought. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.
